FREE OF CHARGE to U10 to Adult registered CUFC Outdoor Competitive players

(Restrictions apply - see below)

CUFC Goalkeeper Training sessions, will be weekly for all existing and aspiring keepers. Each team will be allowed to send a maximum of 3 (Three) keepers to the clinics and the same three must attend three consecutive sessions, wherever possible.
Goalkeeping Training will be Free of Charge for registered indoor competitive Chestermere United players and will take place on MONDAYS, and the Academy will run for 10 weeks.

Training Sessions will be for 60 minutes and will be for U10 to Adult teams throughout the season and will be delivered by the CUFC Goalkeeping Coach,Victor Salas. (See Biography below)


Starts: Monday 5th June 2017

Ends: Monday 31st July 2017


East Lake School Field 2 (U12) - Kinniburgh


6:30pm to 7:30pm     - U10 & U12 Goalkeepers (Male & Female)
7:30pm to 8:30pm     - U14 to U18 Youth plus Adult Goalkeepers (Male & Female)

If goalkeepers have a team practice that night they are to attend the Keeper training instead and join their team for the last part of their team practice if possible
If players have a game with their team on the date of the Goalkeeping Training, they must attend the clinic if possible. Where time does not allow attendance to both, players MUST attend their team games.

All players will receive information & instruction on proper warm up & cool down stretches, Nutrition & hydration and injury treatment.

CUFC Training Shirt must be worn to all training sessions, along with black soccer shorts and socks. Shin guards & appropriate footwear are mandatory at all sessions and players must bring adequate drinking water.

Goalkeeping Coach - Victor Salas

Victor is a football fanatic and has been a goalkeeper since the age of 12.

He has his NSCAA Level III Diploma in Goalkeeping and NSCAA National Diploma. He is NCCP certified, ASA Provincial C licensed and is currently working towards his NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.

Victor’s coaching philosophy is to encourage long term enjoyment of the beautiful game by enthusiastically teaching all aspects of the game in a fun and challenging environment.

His goalas a coach is to develop footballers to their fullest potential as players, teammates and empathetic individuals. 

Victor is the Assistant Director of Coaching for CUFC, Goal Keeping Academy Coach and Head Coach of the U18 Girls Excelsior team.
