CUFC Academy will be all Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ) based sessions with the ball, which will be designed to improve the players individual athletic abilities, skills techniques, and ball control.

All sessions are designed to develop athletes who wish to become more complete players.

CUFC continues to improve its programs and we have identified a huge necessity for our players to develop their individual technical skills with a larger emphasis on their ability to be a stronger, more agile and balanced athletes. This will enable them to have far greater success in their ball handling skills and increased athletic abilities on the field.

The sessions will be based on Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ) training with and without the ball. This will be taught in a structured program that promotes the vision and style of play of Chestermere United FC.

The Academy will take place on a Friday evening and will run for  8 sessions.

CUFC Academy Session will run for 90 minutes and will be for U12 to U16 (10 to 16 years old) players throughout the season.
The Program will be delivered by the CUFC Academy Coaches, using a structured training program set by the Director of Coaching.

All players will receive information and instruction on the FIFA 11+ warm-up plus cool-down stretches, nutrition & hydration, and injury prevention & treatment.
